




Solution SFT is seeking PCOs who will serve as Project Planning and Control Consultants. In this role, you will be involved in a client project within the public sector in Quebec City; work will be conducted in a hybrid mode! (Primarily remote) Responsibilities: • Develop project schedules, their structure, and breakdown into activities: o In collaboration with project and operations managers; o In compliance with the company's established methods, processes, and practices; o In adherence to authorized deadlines and budgets; o According to organizational changes and project or administrative unit developments; o Using company-standard software and systems, particularly MS Project, Enterprise Project Management System (SGPE), and Azure DevOps. • Maintain, update, and monitor schedules, activities, and assignments; • Track the production and approval of efforts allocated to schedules, produce related reports, and support involved stakeholders as needed; • Contribute to monitoring purchase orders and fixed-price contracts; • Reconcile financial data with the company's accounting systems and correct discrepancies if necessary; • Perform project and fiscal year-end closures for administrative units. • Monitor the accountability schedule, carry out related activities, and produce required accountability reports; • Generate project and operations performance and management dashboards, indicators, and supporting documentation; • Monitor, adjust, and produce financial data related to projects and administrative units; • Establish budget forecasts for projects and administrative units; • Identify and justify budget variances. Requirements: 1. Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a project planning and control consultant (PCO); 2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in information technology; 3. Within the last five (5) years, must have completed a minimum of 480 person-days as a project planning and control consultant (PCO), across a maximum of three (3) assignments. Each submitted assignment must be part of a project with a minimum scope of 1,100 person-days, carried out in an organizational context involving matrix team planning and organization, and within an agile IT project environment; 4. Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting users of management tools (e.g., project plans, dashboards, registers, etc.); 5. Minimum of one (1) year of experience applying project planning, monitoring, and control techniques based on earned value, variance analysis, and schedule and cost performance indicators; 6. Minimum of two (2) years of experience using MS-Project software, including one (1) year in an EPM/Project Server environment.
