JOB OPPORTUNITY – Social Worker in Youth Protection Work location: Sept-Îles, Côte Nord, Quebec Contract duration: October 20 to March 31, 2026 Full-time contract About the position: SFT Services is seeking a Social Worker to fill a youth protection position within the healthcare network on the beautiful Côte Nord. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele in a stimulating environment. Main responsibilities: Assess the psychosocial situation of clients and their families. Provide intervention for clients experiencing difficulties (mental health, addiction, youth, elderly, etc.). Develop and implement individualized intervention plans. Provide guidance and support to clients throughout their care journey. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in social work or social services. Must be a registered member of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ). Recent and relevant experience in youth protection, assessment/orientation, and working with Indigenous communities. Bilingual proficiency required. Valid driver's license and vehicle required.
