Seeking Christmas Support

❤️ **Looking for a Little Christmas Help This Year** I know its early. I’m reaching out anonymously because this is not an easy thing for me to ask. In September, I fled an abusive marriage with my children and had to start over from nothing. It has been a difficult few months of trying to rebuild our lives, find our footing, and create a safe and happy home for my children. I’m working as much and as hard as I possibly can to provide for my family and get us back on our feet. I’m doing everything I can, but as Christmas gets closer, I’m starting to realize that making the holiday magic my children deserve is going to be nearly impossible for me this year. As a mother, all I want is to see the excitement on their faces Christmas morning and give them some of the joy, comfort, and happiness that every child deserves, especially after so much change in their lives. Asking for help is not something that comes easily to me. I’m doing my best to be strong for my children and give them the best life I can, but sometimes even working as hard as you can just isn’t enough. I’m hoping to connect with anyone in **Amherst or the surrounding area** who may know of Christmas assistance programs, toy drives, gift programs, or community members who might be able to help families going through a difficult time. Even a little help or simply being pointed in the right direction would mean more to us than I can put into words.
