Hello, I am a resident physician (MD) passionate about helping you in the medical school admission process. Over the past 4 years, I have helped 35+ students gain admission into Canadian and American medical schools. In the most recent May 2024 cycle, 19/22 of my students got into at least 1 Canadian medical school, with several scoring 3+ admissions in Ontario and out-of-province schools (UBC, UofC, UofA, UofS, Dalhousie). 4/4 of the students who applied to the US were offered early admission to American MD school. I teach health care events, health policy, conflict resolution, ethical dilemma. * CASPer prep (This short situational test is weighed as heavily as the GPA that you spent 4 years protecting or the CARS score that you spent the whole summer working for. You can, and you should study for it. CASPer is very coachable and it is quite feasible to score well after a few strategic prep sessions. I scored the highest quartile (4th) compared to all medical students in the country back when I took it in Dec 2022. I will do focused teaching on medical ethics and go through high yield cases that reinforce concepts that are likely to show up on your test. I will provide you with 1-on-1 comprehensive support and help you put forth a stellar application that highlights your unique strengths and hits all the core competencies. I have had 100% retention of all the students I work with, meaning everyone chooses to continue working with me after our first session. Rates: $180 per hour, can extend to as much time as you need.
