Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator, you will offer company employees courteous service while handling various requests primarily concerning the work environment and office layout. Your day at a glance: Perform minor repairs within the building Perform certain tasks related to housekeeping Replenish supplies in common areas Perform preventive maintenance on company tools and equipment Arrange different office furniture (move furniture, chairs, filing cabinets, etc.) Report any irregularities in work spaces, public areas and throughout the entire building infrastructure to the Facilities Coordinator Organize and manage supplies, equipment and material in a warehouse Configure workstations and furniture Carry out all other job-related tasks upon request What makes you a great fit: Must hold valid driver's license High school diploma, or equivalent Minimum one year of experience in general maintenance / building maintenance Ability to occasionally lift loads of a maximum of 30 kg Ability to perform various types of basic manual work (e.g. painting, carpentry, etc.) Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (walking, pushing, pulling, moving and lifting loads) Ability to follow instructions provided by a direct supervisor Demonstrate flexibility, initiative and organizational skills Ability to work standing up and move about during long hours Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times in the workplace An asset if you have: Recognized professional training in Building Maintenance Let’s talk perks!
