2004 ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 6’6” box 5.7 hemi. I bought this truck 3.5years ago at 170km. It has been great to me. I have taken care of it meticulously with full synthetic oil changes every 5k. As well as done many upgrades as follows: -rear shocks -front suspension on both sides: control arm, tie rods, steering linkage -alternator -serpentine belt -cooper all weather tires only have 3000km on them -blower fan - thermostat -spark plugs -clean out the intake manifold - new batter 3 months ago -ecv module -hood hydraulic shocks -water pump -rad lines -new soft roll up tonneau cover - that’s all I can think of I loved driving this truck but my kids are getting too big for the quad cab. Would make a great hunting, farm, or daily driver truck. Kms won’t go up as I bought a newer ram. This truck is super easy to work on. A few issues with the truck are as follows - passenger front door latch is not working properly and only opens from the inside. It’s been too cold to fix -some rust but fairly minimal given the vintage -I suspect the exhaust manifold must have some lose connections but its is hard to see with the skid plate covering. - the previous owner cut the center seatbelts off, not sure why. Only has 4 seatbelts -crack in the lower half of the windshield but does not affect vision I’m sad to see it go but excited to have it go to a new owner. This truck will run solid for years to come.
