Two Pentium 4 desktops, with a monitor and PS/2 mouse USB keyboards work on both machines in Windows 98, the BIOS and every other tested operating system Both machines boot from USB drives. DVDs or CDs are not required. Did not use CD, DVD or Floppy for any installation of the operating systems below. Have not tested sound or the floppy drives. All optical drives are working Neither motherboard has an AGP slot Includes an SD card <=> IDE adapter Tested the following operating systems on one or both machines: 1. Windows XP 2. Windows Me 3. Windows 2000 4. Windows 98 5. Alpine (latest version) 6. Gentoo (latest version) 7. Slackware 12 8. Mandrake 9, 9.2, 10, 10.1 9. Fedora Core 2, 3, 4, 6 10. NetBSD The following operating systems failed to boot after installation 1. HaikuOS 2. AntiX For a modern operating that works well, use Alpine. Windows XP and 98 run flawlessly. Did not extensively test Windows 2000 or ME Pentium 4 2.6GHz (Black) Windows 98 SE 1.2GB ram 20GB IDE HDD DVD RW CD RW 845G motherboard Pentium 4 (Beige) Slackware Linux 12 256MB 30GB IDE HDD CD RW 845G motherboard The Pentium 4 2.6GHz machine is rock solid and has been stress tested for a few days. It is incredibly stable. The Beige 1.7GHz machine is stable, but has not been tested thoroughly. Windows 98 will only operate with the included PS/2 mouse. All drivers are installed. USB storage and internet work Comes with a valid Windows XP licence key $100 for the entire bundle (two Desktops, Monitor and Mouse)
