BEWARE!!! I encourage everyone to read this before considering renting from Geena. The landlord (Geena) lives in the home with 4 tenants. Geena will not allow you to prepare food/use a microwave etc at any point during 10pm-7am. Geena will also not allow you to enter the home after 10pm. Both of these things are against the Tenancy Act. Geena is controlling and overbearing, aggressive and has a strange desire to control the men who rent from her. She pesters them, follows them around the house hounding them. Geena called the police on a tenant for making a can of soup after 10pm, to which the police showed up and informed the tenant that they have not done anything wrong. Geena then yelled “Damn you!” And hit her tenant in the chest. Geena is violent and disrespectful. You are not allowed out of your bedroom overnight and if you do so, Geena will pester you and call you names such as a “parasite” a “fraud” and will demand you walk quieter on her floors. Geena has a strong need for control and is unpredictable. She has entered tenants room without permission and upon moving out, Geena will confirm you room is in-tact but will make excuses of why she cannot return your damage deposit. This woman is aggressive, disrespectful and potentially dangerous to live with. If Geena doesn’t like something you do, she will contact your family members, your mother or your partner, no matter your age, and will pester them with text messages complaining about you. Will be going to the tenancy board about this but everyone should be warned. Best of luck in your rental searches! ❤️
