ASL Practice Group for Adults

address42QJ+X2 Grandora, SK, Canada

Description

Thursday, July 16th, from 5:30-7:00pm at Western Redi Mix (131 105 Street East, Saskatoon). We will practice how to sign music! If you have a song you would like to work on, please bring a copy or two of the lyrics and we can work them together as a group. My name is Carla Klassen and I am an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter. I facilitate a monthly practice group for adults wanting to better their skills in ASL. This group is for everyone! From beginners to expert signers. If you don't know ASL but are interested in trying it out, join us. This group is FREE to attend, and no registration is required. Simply come if you can. If you need to show up late or leave early, no problem! This group is a welcoming and casual meeting where we aim to help each other become better signers in a safe environment. Every month we practice different skills and learn new vocabulary through a variety of activities. Any materials that may be needed are provided at no cost. Our next get together will be on Thursday, July 16th, from 5:30-7:00pm at Western Redi Mix (131 105 Street East, Saskatoon). We will practice how to sign music! If you have a song you would like to work on, please bring a copy or two of the lyrics and we can work them together as a group. I invite you to join us to meet other ASL enthusiasts and practice your sign language skills. If you have any questions, please reply to this ad. I hope you can join us!
