Japanese Classes for Kids in Markham | Beginner Friendly

Looking for a Japanese class that goes beyond memorizing vocabulary and completing worksheets? Nihongo Lab is a small-group, project-based Japanese program for children in Grades 1–3 in Markham. Children learn Japanese by actually using it — while exploring, designing, making, testing, and sharing ideas with other children. For example, instead of simply completing a Japanese worksheet, children might compare different learning materials, discuss what makes them fun or confusing, and then design and test their own. Through these hands-on projects, children gradually build the Japanese they need to: • express their ideas and preferences • ask questions and interact with others • explain their thinking • collaborate and create something together No previous Japanese experience is required. Complete beginners are welcome, and parents do not need to speak Japanese at home. Children who understand some Japanese but tend to answer in English are also welcome.
