Hello, I’m Tomoko. I have completed a Japanese Language Teacher Training Course and have 5+ years of teaching experience. I am also currently teaching Japanese online to students. Whether you’re just starting with hiragana and katakana, or you want to speak more naturally in everyday situations, my lessons are designed to help you progress step by step with confidence. I primarily use the Japanese textbooks Genki I and Genki II, along with other supplementary materials, to help you build a strong foundation in grammar and develop real conversation skills. You’ll learn not only correct Japanese, but also how to use it in real life—when to be polite, when to be casual, and how to sound more natural. Genki I covers beginner-level topics, from kana to adjective and verb constructions, while Genki II continues with intermediate-level material.
