NEEDED: Sewing instructor for children

One-on-One Sewing Teacher Needed for Children (Beginner Machine Sewing) I am looking for a patient, experienced sewing teacher to give one-on-one lessons to my grandchildren, starting with how to confidently use a sewing machine. I would love to find someone patient, creative, and experienced to teach my grandchildren sewing — with learning to use a sewing machine. The children are: 8, 7, 6, 4 ( possibly too young for now) I am ONLY interested in one-on-one teaching. No group lessons. The goal is real sewing skills, not just simple crafts. I would like the children to begin learning: • how to safely and confidently use a sewing machine • basic sewing construction and techniques • eventually using a serger • working with patterns • making patterns from their own clothes • and eventually creating projects from their own imagination Lessons would take place in my home using my sewing equipment and fabric. I am especially looking for someone who is: • patient and encouraging • comfortable teaching young children • creative and practical • able to adapt lessons to each child individually Please message me with: • your sewing background • experience teaching children • availability • and any examples of projects you have taught children to make.
