6Hello/hi (English version below) Adults/children or both! Parent-child lessons are possible! Here are some details about me and the lessons: -I am approachable and will make you feel at ease and laugh. If you are a beginner, I understand it’s not easy, so we’ll relax and have fun! I’ve been teaching private lessons since 2019, for adults, children, and teenagers. -I hold certifications as a SWIMMING INSTRUCTOR (Red Cross) and NATIONAL LIFEGUARD since 2009. In my youth, I taught Red Cross programs to children of all ages and skill levels (approximately 700 students) for five years. This enabled me to develop multiple teaching techniques—including hands-on guidance—and to make swimming instruction fun for children through different weekly themes (I currently have toys for 15 distinct themes). -Throughout high school, I participated in the SPORT-STUDY SWIMMING program at a COMPETITION club, swimming 6 km/day, 6 days/week. I am proficient in all strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle). If your goal is performance, I will design a personalized training program for you. Whether it’s performance or simply learning the fundamentals, I’m here to support you. My competitive background ensures that I will teach you a much more efficient freestyle technique than the one unfortunately taught in municipal programs. You will learn to perform a full underwater arm catch (traction) rather than bending your elbow while lifting your arm out of the water; during the recovery phase (arm outside the water), the movement will follow more of a semicircular path, and your elbow will bend—but at a different moment: when inserting your hand into the water. -If your primary goal is to learn swimming for survival—so you can safely enjoy being in the water, say on your next seaside vacation—I will focus on teaching you breaststroke (frog swimming). This stroke is less cardiovascularly demanding than freestyle and is the top priority from a survival perspective. It allows you to swim with your head above water, enabling clear forward vision, conversation with people nearby, and even sipping your cocktail (a little joke here, hehe). Additionally, the same leg movement used in breaststroke applies to one treading-water technique; treading water is essential in survival- and safety-oriented swimming instruction. -I have various teaching aids to support your learning and assist with buoyancy. You’ll always feel safe with these tools—and with me—as you progress at your own pace toward swimming confidently in deeper water without aids. See you soon! ENGLISH VERSION Hello hello! Adults/children or both! Parent-child lessons possible! Here are some info about me and classes! -5 years in a SWIMMING COMPETITION club swimming 6km/day, 6 days/week. I know all the swimming styles (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, crawl). If your goal is performance, I will create a personalized training program for you. Whether it's performance or simply learning the basics, I'm there for you. My competitive background means that I will teach you a way of swimming crawl that is much more efficient than the crawl taught, unfortunately, in the Red Cross program. You will learn to do a complete catch (traction) with your arm in the water and not bending the elbow when you pull out your arm from the water, the movement will be more of a half circle shape during the recovery phase (the arm outside the water), your elbow will bend but at different time, when inserting the hand into the water. -If you mainly want to learn swimming for a survival perspective and be able to enjoy being in the water and be safe, let's say on your next vacation trip, I will focus on teaching you breaststroke (frog swimming). This swimming style, less cardio than the crawl, is the technique to prioritize from a survival point of view, it is easy to swim with your head up, to see clearly in front of you, talk to the people around you, drink your cocktail (little joke here hehe). In addition to this, the same leg movement in breaststroke is used for one of treading water techniques, treading water is essential in swimming learning from a survival/safety aspect. -I am a person who will push you beyond your limits, I am very easy to talk to and dynamic, you won't be bored with me! -I have my Red Cross swimming instructor and National Lifeguard certification since 2009. During 5 years, I taught the Red Cross program to children of all age/level (around 700 students). This allowed me to develop several learning techniques including manipulation and making learning of swimming fun for children with different themes every week. -I have several swimming equipment to promote your learning and help floatation. Don't worry, you will feel safe and going to your own pace. See you soon!
