Description

I provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities and additional support needs who are working toward greater independence, confidence, and participation in daily life. Through my experience supporting a person with a disability, I understand the importance of offering patient, respectful, and individualized assistance while promoting choice, dignity, and self-determination. I can assist with a range of everyday activities tailored to each person’s needs, preferences, and goals, including meal preparation, grocery shopping, budgeting, household tasks, organizing routines, and developing practical life skills. I can also provide support with community access, appointments, errands, and participation in activities that are meaningful and enjoyable to the individual. My goal is to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment in which each person feels valued, respected, and empowered to build their independence. I welcome the opportunity to work with individuals and families to understand their needs, goals, and interests and to provide reliable, personalized support.
