Help Needed please

I never thought I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this… but I am truly desperate right now. We are currently stranded in Balmoral, Manitoba with no vehicle and no way to get anywhere. We have no food, no dog food, and no way to pick anything up. My heart is breaking as I write this… my sweet girl Sophie, my 10-year-old Golden Retriever, is being put down Monday morning. She’s been declining, especially after we lost our other Golden, Leo, on January 30th. The grief has already been so heavy, and now I’m facing saying goodbye to Sophie too. All I want is to give her the best last weekend possible. She deserves comfort, love, and good food — especially meat, as that’s what she’s been used to. I just want her to feel special and cared for in her final days. If anyone is able to help with a food delivery or drop-off, even something small, it would mean more than I can ever express. I will absolutely pay it forward when I am able. I’ve always tried to be the one helping others… this is incredibly hard for me to ask. Thank you for even taking the time to read this. ❤️ Melissa
