The Curse Strikes Again

Description

Since September 1st, applications for status in Canada by French citizens of Algerian origin have been rejected, in addition to the suspension of Air Canada's Montreal–Algiers service. I do not understand why this curse has befallen our community: our status applications are being rejected, we are being turned away at airports, and we are being killed on the streets—what have we done wrong?
