Hi, My name is Arnesh and I’ve been playing guitar for over 10 years and teaching for the last 4 years to both children and adults. I hold a Diploma in Music from the International College Of Music (A Global Partner of the prestigious Berklee College of Music). I’ve been performing live since I picked up the guitar and have been playing in many Bands, Ensembles, Recitals and have also recorded Guitars on many projects and albums. Fees I charge $40/hour for lessons at my location in Hamilton. Online classes are also available. Course - I use a comprehensive Hal Leonard and Berklee Guitar Method with a complete step-by-step guide. - This unique, well-paced method starts by introducing riffs, power chords, and chord-strumming with hits from AC/DC, Nirvana, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix—making learning fun, easy, and inspiring. - Then it progresses to learning all the technical aspects: the major, minor, pentatonic and chromatic scales, sixteenth notes; barre chords; drop D tuning; movable scales; arpeggios; slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs and string bends; chord construction; gear; music theory; and more. - We’ll also be using an advanced guitar software designed specifically to make practice more efficient and dramatically accelerate your learning with no additional cost. Note - If you decide to take lessons at my location, I can provide the guitar if needed. - Students are required to purchase the textbooks after a few classes. - Students must bring a notebook for weekly assignments and notes, and a journal to track their progress. - I’ll make sure your lessons are enjoyable, educational, and focused on achieving your musical goals.
