When I started my undergrad, I’ll be honest—I didn’t know where it was leading. For the first few years, I was confused about how these abstract courses would ever transfer to real life. It wasn't until my final semesters where I realized that Math isn't about memorizing formulas; it's about learning how to think. Once I realized that math connects to almost everything we do, I developed a genuine passion for the subject. Now, I use those skills daily to solve complex problems in Data Science, and aim to cultivate that same passion in my students. My Teaching Philosophy: I aim to share this passion with my students so they don't have to feel lost like I did. My goal is to move students away from rote memorization and towards becoming critical thinkers and problem solvers. When a student understands why a concept works, they don't just pass the test, they retain the knowledge. Courses I Tutor: I offer tutoring for many university level courses. I also specialize in the Ontario High School Curriculum, specifically for Grades 11 and 12 where students often hit a wall: Calculus I, II, III (Differential, Integral, Multivariable Calculus etc.).
