Reading and Spelling Tutoring for Learning Disabilities

Is your child's reading level behind their peers? I can help! I provide instruction in the Barton System, a curriculum designed for learners with dyslexia. This program focuses on phonemic awareness and helps students build essential literacy skills using sequential, research-based methodology in accordance with the NLESD's English Language Arts pedagogy. I received my training and certification in this program when employed at the Learning Disabilities Association of NL. While teaching this curriculum during my years there, I achieved excellent results and received glowing reviews. I work with students of any age and any ability.
